Our newsroom is built to make three things visibly different: what a source reported, what the reporting status is, and what FFT believes it means for fantasy football.

Reporting labels

Official

Published by a team, league, player, or other first-party source.

Confirmed

Supported by the newsroom's confirmation threshold, without claiming it is a first-party announcement.

Reported

Attributed reporting that has not reached the confirmed threshold.

Rumor

Unconfirmed discussion or speculation. It is never presented as settled fact.

Disputed

Credible sources conflict or a material claim has been challenged.

Resolved

A previously developing report has reached a documented outcome.

Sources and corrections

Every published newsroom item keeps a link to the original tweet or article whenever the source provides one. X reports also link to the reporter's profile when a valid handle is available. Material updates can change the reporting label, and conflicting reports are marked disputed rather than silently overwritten.

AI-generated Game Reports

StoryStats from BALLDONTLIE is labeled AI-generated and not independently verified. Its immediate stats and betting narratives are not FFT reporting, and betting references are market context—not gambling advice. FFT may later use a captured postgame narrative as one input to a separate Research Agent analysis.

Player-specific newsroom graphics use real, approved headshots only. If a verified player photo is unavailable, the system does not generate or invent that player's likeness.
